Commit to something only if enough others do.
Nobody sees who's in until the goal is met.
How it works
- Someone starts a campaign: “I'll do this if enough of us do, by this date.”
- People commit. Until the goal is met, everyone sees a count, not names. You can withdraw freely.
- If the goal is met, everyone gets an email, commitments lock, and you see who's in. If the deadline passes first, nobody is bound.
For things like
- Ask for a later school start time if 200 parents at one school commit
- Ask for raises at the same time if everyone on the team list commits
- Bulk-buy solar for the street if 15 households commit
- Go to the zoning meeting and ask for a crosswalk on Elm if 40 neighbours commit
- Book the ski trip to Utah if 8 friends commit
- Switch the team's tool together if 80% of the team commits
- Start the reading group if 6 people commit
What you can set
Who can see it (everyone, anyone with the link, or only people you invite), who can join, the goal (a number, a percentage of an email list, everyone on it, or particular people), the deadline, and whether names show before the goal. All of it is fixed when you start and shown to people before they join. More about how it works.
